Prior approval from the Office of Alternative Licensure is required
before applying to the Educator Residency Program for Teacher
Licensure. To obtain this prior approval and complete the intake
screening process, please visit our website for application:

This certificate is designed for teachers with NC Residency
License in Exceptional Children: General Curriculum (K-12) or
