Application/Deadline Notes

Prospective applicants to the Clinical Ethics Certificate Program
are required to submit a current resume or curriculum vitae
outlining relevant academic, clinical, and professional experience.
Applicants are also encouraged to submit any additional
supporting materials they believe are relevant, such as prior
ethics coursework, certificates, publications, or volunteer
experience.


In addition, applicants must provide a 1-2 page statement of
purpose explaining their motivation for pursuing the certificate,
how it aligns with their professional goals, and what they hope to
gain from the program.


Two letters of recommendation are also required: one from a
clinical supervisor or preceptor who can speak to the applicant’s
ethical awareness and performance in clinical settings, and
another from a professor who can attest to the applicant’s
academic readiness and potential. Applicants are also encouraged
to submit any additional supporting materials they believe are
relevant, such as prior ethics coursework, certificates,
publications, or volunteer experience.


This program is designed to be 80% Distance Education and 20%
On-Campus, with the on-campus portion primarily designated for
summer experiential learning.
