Accelerated Programs
Accelerated programs are special pathways that allow credits to be shared between specific undergraduate and specific graduate programs. Students who are accepted into the accelerated pathways are eligible to count up to 12 credits of graduate coursework in their undergraduate degree and the graduate degree. Once accepted into an accelerated program, the student will replace undergraduate coursework with graduate credits.
Specific undergraduate and graduate degree pairings have been approved for use as accelerated programs. Students are encouraged to talk with the Graduate Program Director of the graduate program of interest to determine their admissibility into that degree. The Graduate Program Director of the graduate degree will then help the student gain entrance into the accelerated pathway. The student later applies to the graduate degree itself.
More information can be found by reading the policy which is published in both the Undergraduate Catalog and the Graduate Catalog.
