ECU is proud to be consistently recognized as a “military friendly” institution both nationally and regionally by a variety of sources and organizations. Most recently, College Factual ranked ECU and the City of Greenville in the top 15 percent of schools in the country for college-bound veterans.
Specifically, ECU ranked 55 in the country and third in the state of North Carolina for veteran-students, using metrics like affordability and overall college quality.
Our campus is in close proximity to Camp LeJeune, Cherry Point and the Seymour Johnson military base, all of whom contribute to our student-veteran community. The Graduate School receives approximately 600 applications from armed services personnel and their family members from all across the world each year
Through the collaborative efforts of a variety of offices, ECU offers a robust support and student engagement experience for our armed services students and their families, both in-person and online.
