Emerging Scholars Panel Discussion

The Office for Equity and Diversity and the Graduate School are pleased to offer you a unique opportunity to meet with some doctoral students or postdoctoral students from around the country to share advice and words of wisdom with you based on their own experiences in graduate school! 

We are pleased to have 10 amazing scholars participating in our 2021 Fall Emerging Scholars Symposium.  The Symposium is a 3-day event for advanced doctoral students and post-doctoral scholars who are underrepresented in their discipline that is designed to support diversifying East Carolina University’s faculty pipeline. They have agreed to serve as panelists for a discussion for our current graduate students!

Those attending this online session will have an opportunity to engage with a group of these scholars and ask questions that will help you in your own graduate school and career decision journey.  Please confirm if you will participate in this session on Friday, October 29^th from 10:45-11:45 am BY REGISTERING HERE.

 We will send the ZOOM link to people who register.  So if you think there is even a slight chance that you can attend, register.  If you don’t attend, we will understand.
