Application/Deadline Notes

UPDATE: ECU’s Public Health, MPH program will be using the SOPHAS application for Spring 2024 and Fall 2024 applications. That application will be available beginning August 17th. All students applying to ECU’s program MUST submit the SOPHAS application and the ECU application.

Students attending on F1 student visas not eligible; USCIS required course delivery mode not available.

Current ECU Honors College students may be eligible for priority admission to this graduate program. Current ECU Honors College students should inquire with the Graduate Program Director for this program as well as their Honors College advisor for more information and eligibility requirements.

The MPH degree is offered fully online through distance education, AND, if desired, you have the option of taking some classes (about 1/3 of coursework) in person in face-to-face format with additional opportunities available on-campus. For the upcoming class entering in Fall 2023 we are starting a designated in-person learning experience in which 6 or 7 of the 8 core courses will be taken together as one group of on-campus students.
