Application/Deadline Notes
You must choose a concentration on the application to be considered. Students applying for assistantships / out-of-state tuition waivers must submit their application by March 1st. August 1st is the deadline for all other students.
May 1st deadline for Music – Education.
**This program does not have a Priority Deadline for this term.

- Application fee
- Official transcripts for all colleges/universities attended
- Three (3) letters of recommendation and Statement of Intent (All letters of recommendation must be from former music professors, private teachers, or teaching supervisors.)
- Composition, Music education, Music history and literature, and Theory concentrations require an additional portfolio submission. All other concentrations require an audition.
- Music Education requires a teaching license and resume.
- International students must submit qualifying IELTS / TOEFL / DuoLingo scores and official foreign transcript evaluation with qualifying GPA.
