Consultation with the graduate program coordinator prior to applying is highly encouraged.

Current ECU Honors College students may be eligible for priority admission to this graduate program. Current ECU Honors College students should inquire with the Graduate Program Director for this program as well as their Honors College advisor for more information and eligibility requirements.

  • Official transcripts for all colleges/universities attended
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation
  • Statement of Intent
  • Copy of teaching license
  • Applicants lacking sufficient undergraduate reading courses will be required to complete prerequisite course work as non-degree graduate student.

NOTE: If you do not yet hold a teaching license, please contact the graduate coordinator (howardch14@ecu.edu) to see if you are eligible for a licensure waiver.

Copy of teaching license (if in SRII, include indication of when license will be received and submit to the Graduate School immediately upon receipt).

Students attending on F1 student visas not eligible; USCIS required course delivery mode not available.
