Full-time, campus-based students seeking an assistantship in the Department of English must submit a complete application by the priority deadlines.

Students applying for the MA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing must submit a portfolio of original creative writing in one genre.
Concentrations:
- Creative Writing (On Campus)
- Multicultural and Transnational Literature (On Campus or Online)*
- Technical and Professional Communication concentrations (On Campus or Online)*
- No Concentration Option (On Campus or Online)
* Courses in these concentrations are only offered online. However, students who pursue the English, MA as an on-campus program can choose these concentrations.
