The MAT degree program provides highly qualified, bachelor-degree holders with an opportunity to earn a Master’s degree and a North Carolina teaching license in one of 11 concentrations:

One year to licensure
The full-time program is designed to be completed in twelve months, beginning in the summer and finishing the following summer.
Real-world experience
Each MAT candidate spends spring semester in a full-time internship working with a certified, ECU-trained clinical teacher and university supervisor.
