Rehabilitation counselors are the only professional counselors educated and trained at the graduate level specifically to serve individuals with disabilities. As a student in ECU’s accredited Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling program, you will develop the expertise and practical skills to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their maximum level of physical, psychological, social, educational, vocational, and economic functioning.
The Master of Science (MS) in Rehabilitation Counseling program is a 62 credit-hour CACREP accredited rehabilitation counseling program. The coursework includes a combination of classroom, clinical study, personal counseling, and experiential activities. Students will also complete a rehabilitation counseling internship supervised by a CRC.
