Marquerite Bond

Marquerite grew up in the small town of Hillsborough, NC, but now considers Greenville her home after 28 years and after attending ECU for undergraduate and graduate school. She’s worked at ECU for nearly 16 years and in the Graduate School for 6 years.  Marquerite reviews the formatting of masters theses and doctoral dissertations and also processes graduate faculty status requests. She also processes master’s pre-thesis forms and advancement to doctoral candidacy forms. Marquerite is responsible for helping Graduate School staff travel to work-related events including recruiting trips. Marquerite enjoys interacting with our Graduate Program Directors when she writes the minutes at the monthly Graduate Program Director & Coordinators meetings. Marquerite also supports the tasks and events of the Associate Deans in the Graduate School. In her free time, Marquerite enjoys coaching a Greenville Recreation and Parks ECBL baseball team, cooking, listening to jazz, planting roses and zinnias in the garden, riding her Harley, and spending time with her husband Bill, son Miles, and their three fur babies Stumpy, Reggie, and Belle.
