Marquerite grew up in the small town of Hillsborough, NC, but now considers Greenville her home after living here since 1992 and after graduating from ECU with an undergraduate and graduate degree. She’s worked at ECU since 2004 and in the Graduate School since 2014. Marquerite reviews the formatting of masters theses and doctoral dissertations, processes graduate faculty status requests and master’s pre-thesis research approval and advancement to doctoral candidacy forms. Marquerite is responsible for helping Graduate School staff travel to work-related events including recruiting trips, and she write the minutes for the monthly Graduate Program Director & Coordinators meetings. Marquerite also supports the Associate Dean and staff with tasks and events such as RCAW and 3MT. In her free time, Marquerite enjoys coaching ECBL baseball, cooking, listening to jazz, attending music concerts, gardening, riding her Harley, and spending time with her husband, son, and fur babies.
