Tania Alvarez

Tania serves as the Executive Assistant for the Dean of the Graduate School. When she’s not busy helping the Dean manage his busy schedule and countless projects/activities, you will find her enjoying time with her family. She has six amazing children and one adorably handsome grandson and an incredibly sweet granddaughter who are the center of her world. Tania and her husband enjoy being outdoors, typically in hot weather although she does claim to be a homebody at times!  There’s no place like home sweet home!

Tania joined ECU in November 2013 and has been part of the Graduate School Team since August 2015. Tania enjoys being part of a team that helps promote graduate education by recruiting great students and providing the motivation and support students need to succeed with their graduate education.
