Tuesday, May 18th at 5pm
Imani Gilbert will be competing with graduate students from 11 North Carolina graduate schools as they showcase their research and its impact on the state of North Carolina. Students will be judged and awarded 1st and 2nd place prizes, based on their comprehension and content, and how well they communicate and engage with their viewers.
Imani’s research goes into detail on how speech Imaging and visualization laboratory can help provide insight as to why some cleft pallet surgeries work and others do not, subsequently reducing the amount of surgeries and cost of care.
I encourage you to join us next week on Tuesday, May 18th at 5pm to support and cheer on our Pirate with her amazing research!
You, the viewers will have the opportunity to vote for the People’s Choice award. There will be many great competitors and the judges will have a tough job that evening.
